•He has an older brother who is 2 years older than him, and a little brother who is 5 years younger.
•If he was given his own solo stage, Hoya would hire a female dancer and do a sexy dance for 10 minutes.
•He ripped his pants during INFINITE‘s first performance.
•When he meets someone for the first time he feels like he will become closer to them if they call him his stage name “Hoya”instead of his birth name “Howon“.
•He owns giraffe PJs.
•Since Hoya is in charge of rapping, the company told him that he should get dreadlocks and wear a headband when they first debuted.
•He dropped out of high school his freshman year to learn how to sing and dance.
•His mom supported him and helped him pursue his dream of becoming a singer, but unfortunately his dad was against it. In fact he‘s still not happy with Hoya‘s decision.
•He likes KBS‘s “Six Hour” because it reminds him of his grandparents.
•He and DongWoo are known for their dance routine for T-Pain‘s“Freeze“.
•On rainy days before they debuted, Hoya and Sunggyu used to eat their lunch under the small jungle gym in the playground. One time a kid walked past and pointed at them and called them “beggars”.
•He is a 3rd degree black belt, and was learning taekwondo up until middle school. He stopped doing it when he entered a tournament that was way over his level and he got hit a lot.
•If he could experience any scene from any romance movie or drama it would be the kiss in the rain scene from “Dear John“.
•His favorite color is purple.
•He says he has the best body out of all the members.
•He likes to practice until late into the night. So he oversleeps a lot.
•He along with DongWoo were taught how to rap by Epik High‘s Mithra Jin and Gonzo.
•He and Sungyeol were suppose to act in the “BTD” MV along side L and WooHyun.
•When given free time, he will spend it practicing while the other members go play.
